Hey guys, searched a bit, didn't find an answer.
I've been wanting a toy for a long time and while waiting to finish my 72 Chevy I decided to get one and throw it on the ground as a daily. I got a 92 toy standard cab. 18" Detatas on 225/40. I've got the bags and ordered the rest of tubing to build my 4-link. I want to get everything ready to bag.
Questions-
How much do I need to Z the frame to lay fully.
Do I have to relocate the clutch master to lay on these 18's?
Do I need to tub the firewall?
Now I plan to bodydrop it later, and I figure I will need to tub and relocate the master at that time, but if can I get away right now with just the "normal" stuff that would be helpful.
Thanks,
Ryan
Every truck needs a different amount of Z. just measure how much that crossmember hangs down and thats your amount.
I would just tub and relocate while you're in there, less work later.
I lay on 20s with no relocating of anything so far.... I am going to relocate the clutch master cylinder at some point.. but no need to right now for me
you only need to Z the frame an inch
mine has no tubs, didnt move the clutch master, and lays fine with a 3" bodydrop and 215/35/18
