Driveshaft is toast, can I use a Mustang driveshaft?

I split my driveshaft in 2 a couple of hours ago. That aluminum is very whimpy, I think I should use a steel one, but I don't know if a Mustang driveshaft will work, it's the same rear end and same tranny.
