shocks or no shocks?

ok heres the deal...gotta 96 s-10...got most all the parts 2 bag the front...gonna be getin it bagged in bout a month, the question is....should i get shocks in the front or no?...how much of a differance would it make....and what are the best shocks 2 get? where 2 get em? where 2 get shock relocators? thanks guys!
