Crammin valves in the hood of an s10

Anybody know a good place to cramp some air valves under the hood of a 1999 S10? I was thinkin right above the a-arms, there is a small space, but I dunno if that is safe(because of the heat). I doubt the airline will be touching the motor or anything, but I dunno if anything else could mess with it.
Oh yeh, I have a 4.3. Any pictures of people with their valves in their hood would be nice.
