I got a Spal shaved door kit for my 93 yota and i need some help with where to mount the door poppers so the window dont hit it when i roll it down.

this is too easy...... but i have too... mount em where they wont be in the way of the window.

I have mine at the very bottom of the door. And if your little string thing doesn't reach you could also go to a bicycle shop or something and get a longer piece.

i shaved mine, but i have my locks as the access..

Here's how I set up mine,you will need to prefit all & loop the cable where it has a little slack!

I welded nuts to the solenoid bracket to make mounting easier. Make sure to keep the heat away from the solenoid whaile doing this!

I mounted the solenoid at the bottom front of the of the door @ a angle facing upwards. Used stainless button head screws !

I used the stock metal tab that is on the latch,just reshape & drill a hole! I also removed the power lock.
This is on a 88 Toy,with 4 Runner doors,as have power windows.

I don't think your set up is simular to mine. You have a smaller cable( looks ilke a bicycle cable) & it'ds pulling to the side. Should have pull stright !
