HELP! later model hilux parts onto earlier hilux??

Hi im new to this so im just sourcing out some info before i start my new truck. Just need to know if some parts are compatable with my hilux its a early 88 model (86-88) 2WD with the squarer corner lights, will the later 88-90 model 4X4 guards bolt straight up and do the head lights ,corner lights (angled back ones) ,grill and bumper all fit onto the earlier model hilux as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.....

The 4x4 fenders/guards will not work on your truck....as for the bumpers you pretty much just have to use the mounting brackets that fit the bumper you want to install for it to work. The grill & headlights can be made to fit, but youll have to do alittle trim/mod work to get it to look right. I had an 88 model truck once & I swaped out the front with the 4x4 fenders & bed for that year model & It looks sic! Here is a few pics for you & hope this helps!

89-96 4x4 hilux front end might have a bit more pump to it than the 84-88.
i have a 90's front lights grille and corner lights on my 82 anf the 82 was a fair bit narrower each side took a while to get it to fit.

i bought a load of stuff from the wreckers one day and got two busted 4x4 89-96 guards for free. i cut the corner light buckets out of these and grafted em to the 82 fenders.
