what does everyone do about the rubber brake lines that run inside the frame under the cab, then run under the frame to the rear drums? when i let the rear of my truck down the frame sits on the lines a couple inches from laying out. im surprised they havent been pulled out of the drums already.

Sounds like the Ebrake. You don't really need it.

hmmm...i've already unhooked the ebrake, didn't even think about that being what the lines are for. if so, then how do i disconnect them from the drums?

Either take apart the drums, and disconnect it from the inside, or use bolt cutters.

two bolts and a pair of pliers will remove it neatly. the two bolts on the back, and slide the drum off and unhook the end of the cable.
