Pretty good if you just run them on the rear of the truck. Hell all you have to do is bolt them on, run the air line to the back somewhere, install the t-valve & your set. Ive got them on the rear of my 91 now & I just pump them
up when Im out riding around. Back in the day people used to mount them on the front & Ill admit I did it to my 88 toyota before I juiced it. Lets just say you dont want to ride around everyday with airshocks all the way around lol!

can i ask why? what all do i need, and can you give me an estimate of what i might spend on everything?

Well to be honest they are very unsafe!! Yes I did it, but I would not want anybody else to do it. They take forever to pump up & the ride sucks lol! The weight of the truck when you go around curves & turning just over takes
them & the truck leans/sways bad all the time. Its a safe bet to say that the
money you waste on doing airshocks could have gone towards doing just the
front for now or do it all down the road. As for an exact cost then Im not too
sure on that, but its a safe to say that youll wish you had waited on the bags!

air shocks are a very oldschool way of getting adjustable suspension, however, it is very unsafe as air shocks are not designed to hold that kind of weight without the aid of the vehicles natural suspension system. i wouldnt do it. the stuff needed to airbag a truck isnt really all THAT expensive. i would just save your money and do it right the frist time.

$400 will get you 4 bags with some money left over. You can get everything you need for under $1500. Including a 4-link.

i used to drive mine everyday for 4 years. finally got a new daily a couple weeks ago so i usually only drive the toyota on the weekends. just build a bullet proof link setup and you'll be golden.
