laying frame on a 225/40/18. i need all the help and pictures i can get. i haven't measured, but i don't think i need a whole lot of extra room. does anyone have any pics of theirs laying frame without massive tubs. will anything need to be moved or relocated? i've never done this before, so an in depth explaination would be great.

nothing should need relocation, just some small tubs.

ok good, what should i use for the tub? a trailer fender or something. i would rather not pay $60 for the ones SD sells when i only need a couple of inches.

I have the same size tires on my 88, fender tubs( inner fenders),not fire wall tubed! Lays frame @ rear ,cross member @ front( for full frame laid out,z'ing is needed)!Tires hit very top rear of fire wall! Not a problem in less you z for full frame laid!!

if your tubing it go ahead and tube it more then you need ...so for future plans you wont have to redo them ...better to do it now then cut out good tubs to make bigger ones

Pictures from our trucks won't help much Thom. Ours need to to be tubbed a lot just to lay frame. My tubs go all the way up to the pinch on the firewall. Yours could probably look more like this.
