ya i know that.. but will you be able to do side to side with a non adjustable?

To an extent. You can do more with one that has heims. But you can have an adjustable link with all bushings. My 3-link is that way. The setup I just finished for the Nissan has bushings at the frame and heims/pivot joints at the axle, and it articulates 10 inches. Its only adjustable on the lower bars so the pinion angle can be fine tuned if need be.
