dash help

is there a dif in yota dashs i had some gauge surounds that will not clip in my dash the clips are no where close to the holes is it possable it has a runner dash

4runners used the same dashes as the trucks. only difference would be model years.

model years are dif. there were two i think. i'm using the wrong year in mine on purpose, had to cut a couple holes, and make one clip. my dash is a 94, i'm using an 89 model on the surround piece since it has an extra accessory switch hole on the left side.
