well im sorry that this is like my second post but this whole driveshaft thing is gettin on my nerves and need help a.s.a.p. heres the deal, i traded my civic for this truck, the guys who had it before me screwed up the carrier bearing. well they put a new one back in it but instead of bolting it back to the plate they wire tied it. so he then traded the truck to me and when i got it it lasted all of 40 miles before the carrier bearing let go and the drivshaft dropped out of it. well the plate that is welded to the x-member that has the holes where you bolt the CB into were so screwed up that we had to bend them back as straight as we could, flatten them out, and ended up welding some washers on it so we could run some bolts threw it to hold the new CB in place. well we did this like 2 weeks ago and there is all of 10 miles on this CB and i went to take some pics of it i realized that the rubber piece in the actuall CB is pushed out 1/2 an inch. so that CB is junk. my questions are, if i were to get another crossmember from a junk yard, welded it back in, am i gonna have problems with this again??? i dont know anything about toyotas so any info on this would be greatfull. i read a thread from awhile back about this and someone said that they raised theres and someone else flipped the x-member. BTW i have a 93 ext cab toyota pickup 2wd.

Looks like it needs raised... badly. Just a question tho, how long are your link bars and can we get a pic of them? Sometimes when you have the linkbars at a bad angle when layed out they will push the axle back when you lift the truck.
