Wheel offset?

I'm looking at some wheels on the net and I have the option of 2 offsets, The wheels are 18x7.5 and I have the option of +35mm or + 45mm offset. I plan on a 215 40 18 with this combo and I'm leaning towards the +35mm offset but I don't know yota's like sum of you guys. I also plan on drop spindles and 3" block with leaf removed. Eventually I will bag it but it could be a few years until I get to that project!

i had +40 on my 18x8s..w/ 235/40s and they practically tucked..
