I got fired!

Lol, and it feels good. Heres the story. About a month and a half ago I put in my request for time off. I requested off Saturday the 21st. Well last week on Tuesday my boss comes and tells me that another guy asked for the time off, and has seniority so he gets it instead of me. He said he hoped it wasnt a problem, and I told him I was going to the show regardless.

So Friday he tells me its not looking good for me since we're short drivers, I'll have to work Saturday.

So Friday night we're at Hooters, 120 miles from home. Saturday the show kicked ass. I got a trophy for the biggest let down for not brining my truck. Best show I've been to so far.

And todday I came to work and clocked in like normal. 7 minutes later I'm clocking out and going home. My boss has a serious ego.

LOLz at least u lost it for a just cause...should almost take the fags to court

hey if you worked there longer than 6 months you can collect unemployment. i would file since he was a dick about firing you. lol

oh man that sucks....i dunno, i would check into that unemployment thing to see for sure what the minimum time you have to put in is...i always thought it was 6 months but i dont know for sure.

Its not a big deal. I kind of wanted to get fired. It was a schitty job in the first place. I mean I'm the 5th driver they've lost this month. The other 4 straight up quit without giving notice.

yeah but a shitty job is better than no job i would think. i wonder if that boss guy gets the hint.
