HID Headlight Question/Help???

I have an 03 GMC Ext. Cab and recently replaced the factory bulbs with the Bluish colored HID bulbs. My driver side bulb explodes after about 3 minutes of being on???I have tried 3 different brands and they continue to blow ONLY on the driver side? The bulbs are rated 55w, which is exactly what is in from factory! I put the factory one's back in and they work just fine!

Anyone have any idea's what the heck is going on???
