Engine driven compressor on an S-10 with a V-6

Is it possible to mount an engine driven compressor (off an old truck, not a new kit) on my 1996 S-10 with the 4.3. It looks like my engine compartment is way too cluttered with my stock air box, ABS and heater system still in place. Has anyone done it?
