NEW TO SITE !!!! CRAZY AUSSIE :)

Hi everyone ,
Just wanted to drop a post to say hi and cant wait to chat and get some info and tips of you guys n girls .
im fairly green when it comes to mini trucks and i have decided to start a project
i have recently purchased a 1984 toyota Hilux extra cab , it is as far as i know completely standard ... but no for long i will take a few pictures of it tomorrow .

so far the plans are
* matt black paintjob
* whitwall tyres
*3 inch lowering blocks
*moon discs
*extended gear shifter
* billet mirrors, window winders
* crome grill & bumper

thats what im gonna start with and then from there ill move on to phase two ..
any advice or tips would be greatly apprecciated

Thanks for the welcome guys , i am about to go work on the yota so i'll snap a few pictures

ok guys i have started work on my yota , today i pulled of the rear tailgate to check out the loose rusty noise coming from inside the tailgate and to my pleasure i have found that it was just rocks and random bits of crap , so i got that all out which took a heap of weight out of the tailgate and i smoothed it and primered it ,
i also took off the hubcaps and painted the wheels front and read bar and some engine parts in black , and gave the car a qik coat of primer for now ... i changed the spark plugs , dropped and changed oil and filter , new battery , new fuel filter ... it's purring like a kitten
