Turbo as standard option?!

Im reading about the V5MT1 tranny and i noticed in the 97 models that it said "4D56 Turbocharged. Intercooled." What what what?!? Now im assuming the "EC, EX, AUS" ect are different releases to diff countries. But i still havent heard of a turbo option ever. Anyway, random find i thought was pretty niffty.

The 4d56 is a newer/better version of the OG 4d55 diesel, all of em Im aware of came turbo/intercooled.

AHH cripes. I TOTALLY didnt even pay attention to the big D in the middle of the engine code... meaning Diesel. DUH. What a tard i am...

They came turbo and without Turbo Kerby. Pretty guttless without the turbo. Only real diffrence is the longer stroke.
