2.6 4cyl to 3.0 v6??

Will a 3.0 v6 engine from dodge raider fit or connect up easily to a 79-86 2.6 4cyl 4wd tyranny (km145) in a D50. From what the repair manuals show it looks like it will work? Any help possible?

The bellhousings are different between the 4- and 6-cylinder models. They are not compatible. The V6 has different engine mounts, different fuel demands, exhaust, etc.

If you're considering a swap, generally the 3L is a good candidate as any, but other engines like the GM 4.3L might be a better suggestion.
