my mighty max has a 2.4L in it and i was wondering if you can be swapped for the 2.6L G54B from the 80's
You could, but why? You'd reverse engineer and lose your FI. The trans is different. There is a gent named Adam (Toasty) on 4x4Wire that has installed the 2.4L into a Dodge Raider/Mitsu Montero, he'd be a good tech source for this...I'm thinking of the technical differences between the two engines.
do you know where to fing any performance parts for the 2.4L i cant find any or do they have to be fabricated?
what kind of parts? im pretty sure they make headers for that motor.
