2.4 TURBO

I need some help im wantin to get a lil more horses outta my lil 90mm its got the 2.4 fuel injected SOHC in it and i want to put a turbo on it do any of yall know if they make a turbo set up for this motor or maybe another vehicle that has a turbo that would work? another ? can i put a 4G63T head on my stock 2.4 block? any help well be great thanks

Yes you can put a 4g63 dohc head on your 4g64 block but there are some things u need to do with the coolant passages in the block or head, can't remember. Also you need a bunch of stuff from the 4g63. If you want to research putting the dohc head on your block search and ask around at

The only turbo header that will work is from the 80's models of the Tredia, and Cordia. But, the turbo flange is different then the DSM and US mitsubishis, so making an adapter is your best option. Good luck finding one though, or austrailia has them all over the place. If you have the cash, get some from there. The Starion over there has the same head the max 2.4 has and comes turbo'd, and they have all kinds of aftermarket parts for them.

Cool thanks but ima broke mm man lol im lookin for a wrecked eclipes or talon cheap so i can pull the motor,ecu,harness,etc so i can do a 4g63 swap to make my mm a 4g63t truck. do you know what all i will need for the swap?

Yea a 5 speed tranny from a carb'd 2.0 since your 2.4 tranny wont work
