I have an 87 Max that has a tired KM132. I found a low mileage KM132 out of a Conquest and bought it. There are a few things different about the Conquest 132. Is there an ABS sensor on it? Will it work in my Max? If it is an ABS sensor; Can I disable it since the Max does not have ABS?

Conquests didn't even have ABS on them, they're old school cars you have to remember, but even if they did, the enigne or trans would have absolutely nothing to do with the system for it. The sensors, wiring and computer would all be built into the body and suspension seperately. If you have a sensor you have questions about take a pic of it or tell us where it's located on the engine so we might be able to tell you what it is and what it does and it's need for it. I remember years ago the Conquest turbo motor swap was extremely popular and relatively trouble free.

on the contrary conquest/starions do have ABS, from 86-89. it located in the engine bay not on
the trans. its located under the wiper motor. hope this is how ya post a pic on here
The Conquest transmission is a wide-block. Your existing transmission may or may not be.
The Conquest transmission has a different taillight shaft assembly which you can swapped from your old transmission.
I believe the Conquest transmission speedometer gears are for a 3.545:1 rear-end ratio.

I found some info related to trannies by a local guy here in town. Supra trannies with a aftermarket bell housing solves the issue. Im gunna do some more research when im not at work just to see whats involved.
