Frame question

Does anyone kow if the Frames on a 1st gen ram50/mighty max are the same as the 2nd gen. I just picked up an old one with a blown engine and want to put my 87 engine and trans. in it but not sure if all the mounts are the same. Especially the tranny mounts. I don't have the truck in the shop yet to get under it and look or do I have the time right now. From just glancing under it I think they look pretty much the some. Just hoping someone on hear might know for sure.
