What exactly is this? I read someone saying they could swap in OBD II... how? Isnt it a system within the ECU to check engine code errors? I assume they'd just swap ECU's for the correct engine? I also was told it was in 94+Vechicles. I got a 94, but i dont believe i have it. I read the 6G72's came OBD I...

OBD II wasnt in the MM until 1996...I have a 1995 and it doesnt have it.

OBDII is the diagnossis system all cars 96+ use. The only way to get it is to have a 96+ ecu and wiring harness to boot. You dont need it, it is silly to go through hords of trouble to change when you can just buy a scanner with the old OBDI and before hook ups. Or get a palm logger, works even better.
