wow it only took like 4 months to join this place. idk what was the deal but it just now let me join.
anyways picked up two mitsu mm for 600, both ran. one came with a title but is wrecked, the other has no title or keys (donor)
i had plans to keep both but since im moving back to dallas (currently in houston) its kinda hard to drive 3 trucks (my ford f250 daily + 2 mm)
well anyways the wrecked truck got a new head and timing belt by the previous owner and since it wasnt a carb model head it just needed an inline fp. done and done, started up after the inline pump and ran kinda crappy. story short it just needed a good tuneup. after that it ran allright, then finding out the carb took a shit. just ordered the carb not to long ago should be getting that in a couple weeks.
well i came from a nissan background, drove my 240sx since i learned to drive. i drift and just got realy bored with the s chassis and ive always wanted a mini truck. so i was on the hunt and found these.
the plans are to just get it running so i can drive it home, once there its going to be tore apart for 1jzgte swap, 240sx front sus, cross memb, etc cut knuckles, 5 lug, rear is going to get irs.full cage, 240sx steering colum, race seat. the truck is getting coilovers (240sx) and it's probably going to be rolling on 17x9(f) 17x10/18x10(r)
anyways blah blah its only a dream so far.
anyways i call the build project maxine:
as you can see theres some damage. the wheels even came with it.
so finaly after about 3 months, i finaly got bored one day at work at ran over to the apt and drove the bish all sputterin and smoking like a diesel top speed of about 27 miles an hour it got there and i was smilin every min.
this is the other mm .as you can see it looks allright but its in wose condition than the other one. so the core supports gotta go and salvage all i can.

this is what i get t osee from my stall at work. (currently the shop is super slow so i just get to take random pics and look at it.
core support just in place awaiting the body shop guy to weld it up/glue it together.
anyways thats maxine, im new to mitubishi. from what ive read its a rad truck. my buddy has a yoda pickup and he loves it.
i just cant wait to drive the dam thing.

yaha 1uzfe's are awesome, but doing a 5 speed is just as much as going 1jz or 2jz.
