New guy From Charlotte

Hey guys, Im a long time DSM'r and i have been trying to expand upon my mitsu love. I have owed a 97 eclipse rs, 2 97 eclipse gst's, a 91 eclipse gsx, and now currently a galant vr4. Anyways im looking for a mighty max now, and i thought i would come here for some advice. Ive looked into this every once in while and have some basic info but i still need to learn a lot, ultimately as you probably guessed, i already have intentions of swapping a 4g into it. Anyways i tried using the search function and well my question is a little to broad i guess. I have found a two 88 MM for a good price. and i would like to buy one as a DD for now but do a 4g63 swap in the future. But does the 4g bolt up easily or is that only in the later model MM's? Anyways HI again and cant wait to get myself in one of these trucks and join the mini truck crew.

I havent boughten one yet. I wanna get the right one. I know some came withe the 4g64 which makes bolting in the 4g63 a breeze and i was wondering what years i should look at?

check out mightyram50.com theres a thread on there thats got a little bit of good info. im hopefully picking up a talon tsi to steal the motor from. but acording to that thread you want a narrow block 4g63 and it will bolt up to a 2.0 d50 tranny. but you either gota cut out the fire wall or fab new mounts to move the engine foreward. from what ive seen its a ton of work but well worth it obviously.
