Well as my user name states i am interested in building a SBC Mighty max out of my 1991 2wd.
i am wondering if any one could explain to me how to remove the bed and cab of this truck to make it easier to mock everything up? thank you for any help you can give me.

Welcome to the site, This may help I've pulled the bodies off of Rangers, and Toyotas and they are generally similar. I hope this helps you but be sure to double check everything before you completely pull the body in case I left out a step.

BED/////////////////////////////////////////
1.Save some weight and take off the tailgate. Most newer model trucks tail gates can be taken off with out any tools, how ever some of the older models will require unbolting some bolts.
2. It also helps to if the bumper has been taken off to give you more room to move the bed around before lifting it off the frame.
3. Disconnect the tail lights, most trucks have a connector mounted on the frame near the tail lights but the best bet is to remove the tail lights and make sure the harness is not attached to the bed. Depending on previous owners you could have some nasty trailer light wiring to disconnect.
4. Gas Filler Neck - open the gas filler door and unbolt the filler neck from the body and push it down out of the way.
5. Bed bolts - now you should be ready to undo the bed bolts. On most trucks they can be accessed from underneath the body. Some trucks like Rangers however are accessed from inside the bed.
6. Save your back have a couple friends to help you lift the bed, as you start to lift double check underneath that nothing is connected to the bed that would prevent you from pulling it off. Usually 2 people is plenty to lift a bed on a mini truck.

BODY/////////////////////////////////////////
1.There is a lot more involved for the body as you could guess. I would clear out some shelves to make room for various parts. It makes it easier to remove the body when you first remove many parts to give you more access. First remove the bumper, fenders, hood, lights, and grill assembly.
2. Something to consider since you are doing a swap anyway is if you will be using the stock core support. If not it makes sense and makes it a lot easier on you to go ahead and remove the core support, and inner fenders. If you do this it would also be a good time to pull the engine and transmission, and radiator.
3. Before you remove the transmission don't forget to disconnect the spedo cable, along with the shift/shifter linkage depending on auto or stick.
4. The body bolts are accessed from inside the cab, to make it easier you can remove the carpet to gain better access. There are usually bolts where the core support mounts, and in the cab in the front/rear floor boards.

I left out some of the obvious things like wiring harness etc feel free to ask any questions hope this helps.
