Well, possibly a bit premature but I figured that I would get my foot in the door while I can... I am currently still deployed in Afghanistan and Stop-Loss to boot! Can't wait to get home in a couple months... Which brings me to the subject at hand. I have a 89 MM that I have owned since I was 16 (now 26). Wow, anywayzzz looking to get into the Mini Scene hardcore when I return. First things first... Any pointers???

only suggestion i would have for you... dont worry about your truck til you get home you have enough to worry about right now!!!

truck suggestions... dont start til you have all the parts together to minimize down time, keep it simple and clean, make sure the work is 100% find forums for all trucks and read the build ups on them, ask questions, build your truck and drag that shit!

Stay safe and keep doing what your doing for us over there. Then as suggested get a good deal of parts together before you get started so you aren't waiting on parts. Do your homework first and go at it with a solid game plan rather than just jumping from one project to the next. I've learned that in the process of building my truck.
