i bought a mighty max about 4 months ago and been running a check engine light for awhile now i was wondering how too find the problem and fix it thanx for the help

Welcome to the site. The check engine light I was told was supposed to turn on when to change the timing belt. It can be rest by popping off the plastic cover on the right side of the steering wheel and looking for a switch. Should be a rocker switch. Flip it to the opposite side and it should turn off. Happy trucking.

thanks fpr the help ryan i also tried that when i pulled that dash apart but it only turned off the maintce required light off im prolly due for a blet tho what about the plug i can jump too make the check engine light flash in find it that way ??? thanx

Hmmmmm. I guess you got a fuel injected truck? I'm not too familure with thoughs. Mines started carbed. I can take a look at my chilton manual when I get home. Got any information on the truck for us? Year/model?
