That's exactly why I want one.
I have thought about using the power window motor, or something similar, but once you do all the work and custom work, you could have just bought one. Honestly, for the sliding one, you could also rig it to an valve and run it off of your tank - just a pneumatic actuator. However, I want the flip out one because I want it low and as far to the back as possible, and I have a bed cover and cannot put the slider one at the tailgate.
What kind of problems do people have with the flip out ones (like the one from Autoloc)?
