C notch question

1986 Chevy 2wd crew cab dually. I would like to use a 6/8 Western Chassis lowering kit. Kit requires a c notch. Question is what's everyone's thought about using the truck for hauling a 30ft camper? Concerns are frame strength. Also plan on installing 22 semi wheels at some point. Thanks.

Following this one. The more I research into this, the more i find that a true 'step notch' is the way to go.
