I have been debating on putting an irs rear in my B any opinions ?truck will be daily driven with occasional drift and possible roadcourse sessions....

I have been debating on getting an 03_04 cobra irs but just expensive right now so I was wanting opinions and possible pics of others irs setup.

I prefer functionality over looks so any input is appreciated...

A lot of guys have used the nissan 240, mazda rx7, or mitsubishi starion irs. Cheaper and almost bolts in.

Dont do cobra. U will have to remove track width and do custom axles. Ask me how i know....

If i had it to do over again i would do an rx7 rear. They are pretty strong.

What are u planning horsepower wise?

I thought supras would be the ticket too? They are pretty good and plentiful. Then you just 5 lug convert the front and now have any brakes and wheel tire packages you can imagine.

Never thought about the supra's but power wise I'm probably putting down around 350-375 range probably going to add a turbo also in the future

i did the 240 rear...super happy with it. parts are cheap...not to bad to do. And if you do something with alot of HP, you can get bolt on upgrades for that.

Rx7 will handle that easy

the 240rear will as well...ive got more thatn one freind with a stock 240 rear and welded diff that have 390+ HP and have no issues over a span of 5 years or more. If the diff was welded properly anyway. And to clarify , this is for a drifting application.
