Anyone know off chance the stock rear shock mount thread size for the tops? I found out my mini has no rear shocks but the tops are there (sans nuts). I'm making new bottoms, but I'd like to use the existing tops. I just don't have nuts. So what's the thread size?

Offhand I think it's 12x1.25

Close. 12x1.5. But mine are so rusted it won't fit. (I used my spare truck as reference.) Might have to make new top mount too.

I really thought they were fine thread (1.25) but if they are rusted you could just run a die over the threads.

Get both sizes of nuts at Ace Hardware, then you'd be ready. Can always return the extra ones.

I bought 12x1.25, 12x1.5, and 12x1.75 (which is what I used for the new bottom mounts), thinking the same thing as you, Cusser. However, none would work, so I finally went over to my spare B2000 and pulled a nut. I went back to Lowe's and it was a 12x1.5 nut. When I re-died the top mounts, I used a 12x1.5 die. The passenger side where I had to grind off the tip of was a PITA, but the driver side went on fairly smoothly, and just removed the rust. The threads remained untouched.
