My transmission in my 93 B2600i 4x4 5 spd. crapped out on me so now I need to get another tranny! I was just wondering if a b2200 has the same tranny? I found one out of a '89 that's a 2wd. Will the transfer case bolt right up to the 2wd b2200 tranny?

I'mactually curious about this to. I'm buying a standard cab 4x4 with no motor or transmission to steel the bed and fenders, want to swap my 2200 motor and transmission into it for a daily while I build my truck. Curious to see this.

From what I understand, B2600i and B2200 transmissions are completely different. I don't know if B2600i 2WD and 4WD transmissions are the same or not.
SinCityLocal installed a B2600i engine and transmission into his B2000 (I just saw this truck Saturday), had to fabricate mounts for the engine and transmission to accomplish this.
At last visit, there was a 1992 B2600i 4WD with a transmission at the parts yard in Prescott Valley AZ.
