Im lookin to get a new weber 32/36 carb for my 2.2 i noticed with my current stock carb the choke does wat it wants lol..my carby is as old as the car so i cant compare it to a new one but does the elec choke on weber ever play up
is manual choke a good choice
can i save myself the $130 difference

I like the electric choke on my Weber, no issues in 6+ years with it.

had my electric choke Weber for about 12 years with no issues

Installation should be a couple of hours, you might need a stronger throttle return spring. I've posted my instalaltion tips for these several times, do a Search. It's choke plugs into the wire going to rear of alternator, just like the stock one.
