Anybody know anything about the daytime running light system used on Canadian B2200's? Do they have have a seperate module for it? I have a 93 EFI, I am thinking of adding HID's, but that will need me to disable the HID's or change the wiring of it to run full voltage (DRL's usually run 6V to the hi-beams). All I know about they system on my truck is that putting the parking brake on turns them off lol.

the daytime running light module is located on the drivers side inner fender near the airbox, its a steel square box with 2 wires coming from it, and there is an inline fuse one that wire, pull the fuse or unplug the whole thing and your done

Ahh, so that is what that box is, I thought it was some sort of voltage regulator or something with the cooling fins on it (well I guess it regulates the voltage to 6V). I was thinking of re-reouting the DRL's to either a different set of lights, or do something to make them HID compatible, but if I know where the signal comes from, should be able to figure out a way. Thanks!!
