........Can anyone tell me what the peice behind the cab on the right side attached to the frame is, also do i need it or can i delete it while my bed is off??

If you are talking about the box looking thing almost overtop of the axle but slightly in front of it that would be the ANTI LOCK.

i'm pretty sure that is some vent thing for the fuel tank. it does not appear to be attached to anything. if the truck ran with that relocated tank you should be able to loose it
