so im just curious how automotive hydraulic pumps work? can i just hook up any motor to the pump? oris the pump/motor all intregrated?
theoretically if i had 200v dc could i match a motor to a pump? or should i find a motor/pump combo capable of that? and while im looking for that what specs should i pay attention to?

i know its alot of questioning without much info but yea looking for help

They are connected together and coupled with a spline key. The motors are usually 12v. The pump heads have different gears and go by numbers. The number will determine different factors along with the amount of voltage. Any automotive hydraulic company should be able to help you out on what you need. Best thing to do would be get a kit probably. I run a CCE Street kit with accumulators and 24v volts on mine. Set up for ride quality. Hope this helps.
