Gas tank crossmember

Ive got the bed off and everything, but the crossmember is in the way. i was gunna just cut it off but it holds the gas tank. any suggestions?

im trying to cnotch. also, what about the hard brake lines? do they have enough slack to bend ? i know im asking a lot of questions. i apologize in advance!

you should keep them all in the same thread, and not in the member projects section. i would post in the suspension section.
