mazda B2000 carb rebuild

Hi all im new to the forum, I own a 1985 mazda b2000. Currently I have been having carb problems espically when driving up hills. I have ordered a carb rebuild kit and waiting for its arrival. Is there anything i should no about this carb before i rip in cheers.

Nice truck. Replace the fuel filter too. Likely your carb is less complicated than those used on comparable trucks in the USA.

Is your distributor a points-type? Don't overlook a routine tune-up here.

I'd agree on the points, but I would do them first. Likely your loss of power issue is spark related. Plus it's a lot easier to replace points and plugs than rebuild a carburetor first when hunting a loss of power issue.

Thanks forgot to mention that i have changed the leads and plugs. The points look new cheers.
