gotta pick out a radiator to fit between the headlights and will probably have to use a push fan setup. look for that tomorrow. jump right in if you have any suggestions.

the original trans mount worked great with a little tweeking and some spacers. it's a great feeling to see the setup all in and solid. I added some heavy rubber diamond plate to the board I installed over the firewall. it will insulate great and I am filling in behind it with foam fill for added insulation. next is the driveshaft fabrication and radiator fit. added a new water pump with a fabbed spacer to make the pulley line up for the alt.
If I make it to heaven I know I will thank GOD for chrome!!!!

Can't you use a factory radiator? I know the second gens they made an upgraded radiator.

the OEM radiator outlets are on the opposite corners. the top ose could work but not the bottom. It needs to be a top left bottom right hookup.

Is the 1st and 2nd gen radiator the same?

pulled a radiator from a 95 3.8 mustang that looks like a good candidate. cut the rad support back for the width and had to notch the front of the frame but fender mount is still good and strong.

the bottom hose comes out nicely below the frame and will turn right up to the pump. top hose clears good as well. still have room for drain and trans cooler lines. and it doesn't ride too low. I will have to reshape he bumper brackets somehow.
