86 b2000 first timer (slow but sure!)

Small update got my grille stripped down and started the repaint my grille... This is my third attempt at covering the old shitty chrome. This time I took a dremel and a straight razor to it... Here's it in primer

Looks good. How long that take to strip down? Lol. Glad mine was bare plastic when I painted it.

I stretched it out over two days! I got tired of it the first day I used a Window scraper for the bigger areas and the dremel for the curves around the headlights ect... I wasn't able to get it all but I'm hoping that it will work better this time and I'm actually using primer this time so maybe that'll have something to do with it...

YES smoke the lights man I have all my light (exception of the headlights) all smoked. I love the smoked out lights!

The emblem will go on there too but I'll have to glue it on and so I want to make sure I'm done painting it and shit... If the paint sticks this time I'll put it on there...

Hey there mate. Good lookin truck. I have also noticed if you take and spray paint some bed liner on the grill and bumper it looks awesome. I gotta touch mine up on the bumper. But good lookin truck. I love the weber. My truck also has a weber on it. I dont know what one cuz the guy that had my truck before my cuz put it on im thinking. But keep up the good work. And to the guy that does carbon fiber wraps, how the hell do you do that. I might have to send you my pillars on the outside of the truck. Great work.

Hey thanks man! Do u have nay pics of your grille and bumper? I'd like to see that... And I've done some cf vinyl. It's just time consuming I'm also thinking of sending my pillars to member thermus to have them wrapped. he's got a thread on here if you're interested.
