The bed floor project has started. Were using 1x1 square tube for the frame and probably 14g sheet metal for the floor.
The plan is to have the floor open around the suspension area.

Pretty cool man. I got away with using 16ga metal on my bed floor. It was thick enough.

So all this work and its your buddies truck, right? I hope he helps you bag the Nissan when the Mazda is finished!

Its my brothers truck and you bet when it comes time he will be helping bag the nissan lol. We work on our projects together all the time, before the mazda we were balls deep in the tbird project for a couple of years and soon we will be back to working on the bird again so its all good.

We got this far today... Squaring this 1x1 and making sure everything is level is a pain in the ass but we are slowly getting it there. Atleast in this pic you can see the basic idea of the shape the floor will have.
Anybody have tricks when it comes to squaring, leveling and welding square tube? I'd love to hear them.
