Interesting, I like the theme. The mirrors don't work with it though, I would go with something simpler, maybe even just a plain jane round mirror like an actual antique military vehicle would have like so:
I would even go so far as to say paint the classic warplane paintjob with the gaping mouth and teeth just behind the front wheel opening.

thnks everyone..
heres a bit about the truck so the pics make sense..
87 mazda b2000. flat back paint. most chrome trim to include the grille and bike mirrors are olive green. interior door panels and the shifter boot have been recovered with us army issue duffle bags. the truck is actually cut front and back for 22x10 wheels, but i currently have black chevy z71 wheels. eskies are overplayed in my opinion- if you have em tho, rock em. have overhauled all the wiring since ive had it. replaced some old valves and added a few more for total control of corners. o yea, and a 1 quart canteen for a coolant overflow tank. alot more to come trust me. plans are entire truck will be the color of the grille. all metal will be black. pinup on the hood and the classic star from the american fighter jets on the doors. different wheels will be satin black. mirrors are getting changed and powder coated bed is getting tubbed and i will be dropping a mazda rx7 13b motor in it.

lol...thanks..the paint will be reversed shortly..the grille will stay the same but the rest of the truck will be the same color as the grille and the trim peices and wheels will be satin black
