Update: so yesterday I cleaned off the block... That thing was nasty. Looks 100x better. I Stripped it down to basically nothing. Only the crank, rods, and pistons are left. Checked the bearings and they look good so those aren't gettin replaced. Just waiting for the rebuild kit to come in. Gonna pull the head off my other motor today and start cleanin it up. I'll post pics up today of the build so far.

Ok so today I WAS going to install my phantom grille but I need to recess the headlights, anyone have any clue on how to do that? After that didn't go to well I took the head off and cleaned up the bottom. Found a snag along the way... Now onto the pics!

Phantom mock up! Lmk what u guys think

Intake mani off

Valve cover off

Head off

For those of u who haven't taken off a b2200 head, there's a 12mm bolt behind the head close to the firewall holding the coolant tube that runs under the intake mani, my finger is pointing to the bracket. It's in the same general area

Condition of the head

So here's my problem, the timing belt ATE thru the damn cover plate. So theres a little hole where the dizzy goes into the head... Any ideas on this? I was thinkin about taking it to the weld shop.

I forgot to take pics of the block, I'll get some tomorrow.

That's what I was thinkin, I don't know how the timing belt would chew thru that cover.
