Looking real good Ill be doing a rx7 IRS swap end of the year unless I blow my rearend apart with the turbo motor then it will be sooner.

Over time that flat plate will start to bend where u mounted the subframe.. Had that piece been about have the length it prolly would be fine but ur asking an awful lot out of a piece of plate... Not only the up and down action but also the torsional twisting of the mount itself... It would just be a shame to see it fail cuz it's such a cool project...

How low does the frame sit from the floor? because i have an Irs out of an 86 gxl i wanted to swap into mine.Looks nice

Looking good! like how you used a GXL axle, should have a Viscous LSD being that its a S5. they aren''t bad, just don't lock up as quick as i wanted. (my GTUs is running a Welded ATM) i'm very interested in this, i really really really!!! need to learn how to weld! lol i would love to do a Rotary Swap in mine... i build the Motors on the side, so cost is alot lower for me. lol and since i've got 2 motors sitting out..... hmmm bad thoughts!
anyways, Back on subject i really like how this one is turning out and very interested in the IRS Set-up!! Keep up the work!
