are running an overdrive transmission? the factory rears are geared really low unless you are running an overdrive trans. the 5.0 will not need to turn as many r's as the 4 cylinder did. i would prefer a ford 8" but then you to redrill the flanges to keep the 6 bolt wheels.

First off...why would you put a ford motor in it? Waste of time..why do you ask? Because its a Ford....im just kidding. Thats really all i got to say. If you go through with this project, make sure you keep us posted with pics. I did a v-8 swap in mine and i would love to get some fresh ideas for the next one.

Yes you can keep the stock rear end as long as you don't go crazy with the power, or do a lot of burnouts. You will have to get a Ford yoke to mate up to your drive shaft.

I've got a twin turbo 363 Ford engine in mine so I had to go with the tried and true Ford 9" rear.

Are you going carb or EFI? The carb setup will be simpler which is why I have it on mine.

Well the guy said I can have anything off that car I want and I heard it run and it has EFI. So I mite do that. I'm not sure yet.
