My new MX6 side mirrors came in this week and I got them on Friday.

It wasn't too hard actually, and the mirrors are kinda heavy so I hope they will hold up well.

Oh, and they were $60 plus shipping. I like the factory mirrors, on a stock B, but on this build they just didn't look right.

Ok I just did this today. I have read where MSD doesn't recommend installing their 6AL unit in the glove compartment.

The reason being is that it gets too hot, well it could be argued that the inside of an engine bay is going to get way more heat than the insides of a glove box.

Anyway I have mine hid behind the passenger kick panel so with the idea of "better to be safe" I did this.

Yep - That will work. I would have to agree with you in that the under hood temp would almost have to be greater than in the glove box. I suppose another option for the glovebox would be a mini 12v fan just to keep some air moving but what you have there should work just fine.

Today I used up the rest of the 3" aluminum pipe that I had on hand for the turbo air filter inlets.
