Finally got time to work on the truck! Got the rear fenders tacked in place and sheet metal cut out for the bed. Borrowed a metal cutting circular saw from my buddy and it made cutting up that sheet of 16 gauge so much easier

I actually made a 10 switch box from a dub city escalade but wanted something smaller so I bought the avs one.

Too bad about the Beretta. i always liked those cars. I think they had clean lines, esp compared to the other fwd "economy" cars of their time.

Gas tank is out of an early 80's blazer. It fits very nice behind the axle under the bed

It was a fun car while it lasted. Had a built quad 4 with nitrous. Could never get it to hook at the track but made 250hp and 315 ft lbs tq on the dyno.

Man, that thing was sick. Alot of those cars had the 2.8/3.1 V6's. I didn't realize they came with Quad4's. I feel your pain about hooking. I had a 98 auto Z-24 and an 01 manual Z-24. The 01 was stock motored but I had a Zex dry kit with a 75 jet on it. It wouldn't hook til 3rd on street tires, but with a set of slicks and an easy launch it went 13.90's in the 1/4. Surprised A TON of ricers and a few Mustangs. Until I forgot to let off the button and sprayed into the top speed limiter (fuel cut). Motor swap and traded on a LS1 Z28.
I see the Mazda used to have the 01 Yukon wheels like mine did. I'm thinking we got similar tastes.
