well done. maybe I missed something but why didn't you shave the doors as well?

Original plan was to suicide and shave the doors. But I decided to keep the truck simple and didn't want the trouble of shaved handles.

Cause shaved door handles are gay

The tweed looks great, and I like the headliner done in the tweed also, it should help the acoustics inside the truck also, I would think.
Are you going to try and tweed the dash also?

Oh! BTW, I pulled into my driveway this afternoon coming back from a local car show I went to, and I had a package sitting by the garage door! Thanks man! I really appreciate your efforts there.

same could be said aboot anything you shave on the truck (tailgate handle, gas door, fenders) if it's going to be subject to flexing or jolts

If you weld everything up and don't use a ton of body filler there is no reason it should crack. I spent a lot of time working the metal before I used any filler to help avoid any problems in the future with stuff cracking. If I do have a problem area I always use dura glass for the first and sometimes second coat if needed.

Axle Breaker Earl I have an extra dash I'm going to wrap maybe next week. Been getting my motorcycles and mustang ready for summer the past week and it's kind of nice to take a break from the truck.

I have the same shifter knob I picked it up on Ebay.
